Nivala

For creators

Put your video on the dish it belongs to.

Nivala shows up to three creator videos on each dish page, with your channel name and a link to it. We ask for three things: sign in with Google, tick the videos, pick the dish for each.

The portal opens when the app has a store link

YouTube creators only for now. We aren't promising income. What you get is a place on the dish page, credit and a link.

What's in it for you

Your video, next to the dish it was made for.

People on a dish page are cooking that dish, so your video sits beside the ingredients, the steps and the halal check, with your name on it.

Up to three creator videos sit on each dish.

  • Your video beside the recipe

It sits on the dish page next to the ingredients, steps and halal check, for people who are cooking that dish.

  • Credit and a link, every time

Your channel name and a link to your channel stay on your video.

  • A page built to be found

Dish pages answer the questions people search for. Searches for a dish already tend to show videos.

  • You stay in control

Read-only access. Disconnect any time and your videos disappear from every page.

Views, subscribers, watch time

How does a view on Nivala reach your channel?

When someone plays your video on a Nivala dish page, it plays in YouTube's own embedded player, so the view and watch time can be counted on your channel, and a viewer can click through to your channel to subscribe. Nivala sees none of those numbers, and YouTube decides what counts.

  1. On the dish page

Your video sits beside the recipe

Next to the ingredients, steps and halal check, with your channel name on it.

  2. A cook presses play

    The view happens on YouTube

The video plays in YouTube’s own player, so YouTube counts it the way it counts any play.

  3. On your channel

    Watch time adds up

Minutes watched are counted by YouTube against your video.

  4. On your channel

    Some may subscribe

Subscribing happens on YouTube, one click from the video.

  5. On your channel

    Your channel link stays put

Your channel name and a link to it stay on your video.

Views

Your video appears where people are already cooking that exact dish.

Subscribers

Every video carries your channel name and a link, so a new viewer can find the rest of your channel.

Watch time

A video made for the dish someone is cooking suits them. Whether they watch it through is up to your video.

A link back to you

The link goes to your channel on YouTube, not to a page we control.

Nivala has no view or watch-time data yet, so nothing on this page is measured. YouTube shows your numbers in your own YouTube Studio.

Six steps, no pasting

Your channel id from Google is the proof the channel is yours, so nothing is typed or pasted to verify it. Click through the steps to see what you would see.

Step 1 of 6 · Sign in with Google

Open the portal and choose Sign in with Google. No account on Nivala is needed.

What you get, what we ask

You get

  • A place on the dish page for the dish you cooked.
  • Your channel name as credit, and a link to the channel.
  • Early placement while the library of creator videos is small.

We ask

  • Sign in with Google, read-only.
  • Tick the videos you want featured.
  • Pick the dish each video belongs to, and accept the terms.

Rules we keep

For you and for the people watching.

  • Every video is checkedIt must be on your verified channel, public and embeddable. We re-check on a schedule and hide a video the moment any of that stops being true.
  • No ads on or over the playerVideos use the privacy-enhanced YouTube embed, and nothing is layered on top of the player.
  • A person reviews before it goes liveA video with no dish match is never shown until someone assigns one.
  • Disconnect any timeYour videos disappear and the Google data we hold is deleted.
  • Read-only accessWe read your channel and uploads list. We never post, edit or delete on your channel, and we keep the Google access token no longer than needed.
  • Anyone can report a videoEvery creator video has a report button, and there is a takedown contact.

What we keep: your channel id and title, the video ids you pick, the dish for each, and a record of your consent. Report or takedown requests: cfaysal099@gmail.com.
